Event Types

Mashharder supports four main event types. Each type is designed to give hosts flexibility in how they run tournaments, whether it’s a single showdown or a long-running competitive circuit.

Single Game Event

A Single Game Event is built around one game only. Hosts can choose any supported tournament format (Bracket, Versus, Swiss, Round Robin, or Leaderboard), but the competition will be limited to a single title. Best For: Quick events, community tournaments, or esports one-offs.

Multiple Game Event

A Multiple Game Event allows organizers to include several different games in the same event. Each game can run its own format and bracket, all under one umbrella event. Best For: Conventions, esports festivals, and mixed-game showcases.

League

A League is an event type designed for long-running formats like Round Robin or Swiss System. Players or teams accumulate results over multiple rounds or weeks until final standings are decided. Best For: Seasonal competitions, ongoing esports leagues, and community ladders.

Circuit

A Circuit is a collection of multiple tournaments where players or teams earn points toward qualification. At the end of the circuit, the top-ranked participants advance to a main event or finals. Best For: Regional/national esports tours, seasonal circuits, and structured qualification paths.
