it is raining like crazy. hasn't stopped for the last 5 hours or so and its supposed to keep raining for most of today. im shocked my internet hasn't gone out *Roadrunner rocks*

my area didn't flood at all during alison or rita or katrina, but as of now water is coming from the street about half a foot to a foot up my front yard. :eek:

currently 16,000+ houses without power

i didn't go to sleep last night and i put it on abc to see if there was a pre-game show for the soccer match at 8am. :p

I dunno, it looks like it's letting up. All I've seen since yesterday afternoon are little scattered showers every hour or so. It'll probably keep raining for a while, but I doubt it'll flood again.

But then again, if you want to start hording canned food and bottled water, I wouldn't stop you.

I was on my way to shool to see how bad it was. Telephone Rd. was insane. The water stood at knee depth, and there was no way I was going to get there.

I turned back home and at about 11pm they announce that my school got closed. Wow. I woke up and wasted my time.
